How do I create a critique assignment?
A critique assignment is much like a regular assignment (questions and a deadline) with the important difference that a critique assignment points students at the work created by other students on a previous assignment. In a critique assignment the instructor decides how many works each student should evaluate, and asks that evaluator to respond to questions about those works. CritViz then assigned each student a specific set of works to evaluate. The student critic is presented with "critique questions" to complete for each of those works. CritViz assigns specific works at random, for each student to critique, and the assignments are “non-reciprocal”, meaning the student critic is not being evaluated by the same students they are evaluating. The student being evaluated will receive the written feedback and possibly rank scores written by evaluators, as well as see the identity of each of the evaluators.
